Man, does he have killer eyes, or what?
This is the second in a series of school boys (and young men) that attend school in Fond Blanc, Haiti. Children’s HopeChest is currently looking for a sponsor for this young man and the approximately 340 kids who attend the school.

They attend a school in Fond Blanc, Haiti, and Children’s HopeChest is currently looking for a sponsor for the kids there. I enjoyed hanging out with these guys for a few hours on a hot afternoon. From a photography standpoint, I was really intrigued by the character in their eyes.
These photos give you a flavor of daily life in Antigua, Guatemala. It’s wonderful spending an afternoon walking around the cobblestone streets, seeing the architecture, shopping at the market, and dining at local restaurant.
One of the fun things to do on a mission trip is to visit the local markets. These photos are from the market areas in Antigua, which is probably the best market in Guatemala.

This is in the city square in Antigua. The Mayan ladies are in their traditional dress, and they sell handmade products from their village.
The city of Antigua in Guatemala is an extremely pleasant place to visit while you’re on a mission trip. It is a pictureseque town set below mountains and volcanos.
I posted a photograph of this young girl when I returned from Haiti, and I wanted to post a couple more photos of her holding her little brother in order to show her fun personality. So many of the people I met in Fond Blanc were just like this: so engaging and fun.
